Straighten your teeth, love your smile!

We can create the smile you have always wanted by moving your teeth using near invisible, removable appliances, or by using traditional fixed appliances.

Invisalign can be used to treat mild to complex teeth straightening issues.

The best thing is, with the Invisalign computer imaging technology, you will get to see what your teeth will look like at the end of treatment before you start! To date over 6 million patients worldwide have been treated with Invisalign.

Fixed appliances by our Specialist Orthodontist.

Suzannah Stewart Stanton is our Special Orthodontist. Suzannah is able to treat adults and teens who wish to jump lengthy waiting lists and prefer to have private treatment. Her specialist skills cover all types of treatment, including conventional fixed braces, removable and functional appliances.

The most important part of the process is to start with an in depth consultation to make sure Invisalign is right for you. This needs to take in a combination of clinical, aesthetic and lifestyle factors to make sure that best results can be achieved. It is important that your teeth and gums are healthy and stable.

When the planning phase is complete, you will receive a series of custom made removable aligners to wear every day, which will gradually move your teeth into the desired projected position.

You will require visits at approximately 6-8 week intervals to track your progress and provide you with the next series of aligners.

The total time and cost of treatment is dependent on specific needs and complexity of treatment.

Treatment can range from 6-18 months and costs from £1500 – £5500, although it could be less if your smile only needs small’ tweaks’.

You will be advised of treatment time and costs at your consultation appointment, along with how the costs are spread out.

How it works

  1. Have a consultation.

Once your Invisalign Dentist confirms that Invisalign treatment is right for you, they will create your unique ClinCheck® 3D treatment plan

  1. Wear your aligners.

You’ll receive a series of custom-made aligners to wear every day and change at home (on average every 1 to 2 weeks). You’ll see your Invisalign Doctor every 6 to 8 weeks to keep on track.

  1. Never stop smiling.

Treatment is over – it’s time to discover the difference a new smile makes. To keep it just how you like it, you’ll take away retainers to wear at night

Who is Invisalign treatment for?

Invisalign treatment can be a great solution for both adults and teens looking for a virtually invisible method to improve their smile.

Our innovations and technological advancements make it possible to fix nearly all common teeth-straightening and bite issues, from simple to complex — all without interrupting your busy life.

And, thanks to a discreet blue dot on the outside of teen aligners, parents can be sure their child is wearing their clear aligners enough.

How will Invisalign treatment effect my life?

Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible. Others may not even notice you’re wearing them, making Invisalign treatment a seamless fit with your lifestyle.

Yes, you can remove your Invisalign aligners for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. You can take them off for special occasions, like a wedding, job interview, or for playing your favourite sport or instrument. Just remember to wear them 20 to 22 hours a day to get the best results.

Invisalign clear aligners are removable, so there are no food restrictions at all (hello popcorn!). With traditional wires and brackets, there’s a long list of foods you unfortunately can’t enjoy because they can damage or get stuck in your braces.

At St Dunstan’s our experienced clinicians will regularly combine the benefits of Invisalign with tooth whitening and composite bonding to achieve impressive smile makeovers with minimally invasive dentistry. Please look at our smile gallery to appreciate the improvements that can be achieved.
